Disney+ And Hulu Are Hiking Their Prices Again — Find Out How Much You'll Pay

Stop us if you've heard this one before: Disney+ and Hulu are raising their prices.

The biggest increases are coming to the streamers' ad-free tiers. Disney+ Premium will rise 13%, from $18.99 to $21.49/month — an increase of $2.50. Hulu Premium will increase by the same amount, from $18.99 to $21.49/month.

The ad-free Disney+/Hulu bundle, meanwhile, will increase by $2, from $19.99 to $21.99/month. That means subscribing to both services without ads will cost just 50 cents more than subscribing to either Disney+ or Hulu individually.

Disney's ad-supported plans are also getting more expensive. Disney+ and Hulu will each increase by 50 cents, from $11.99 to $12.49/month, while the ad-supported Disney+/Hulu bundle will remain unchanged at $12.99/month. 

The new rates take effect Wednesday, September 23 for new subscribers. Existing subscribers will see the higher prices reflected on their next monthly bill. (Bloomberg was first to report the news.)

The Disney+ and Hulu increases come on the heels of recent price hikes at two other major streaming services. In August, Apple TV raised its monthly subscription fee from $12.99 to $14.99, while Peacock increased the cost of its ad-supported Premium plan from $10.99 to $12.99/month and its ad-free Premium Plus plan from $16.99 to $19.99/month.
