Karen Page Actress Deborah Ann Woll Reacts To Daredevil: Born Again Cancellation

While fans of "Daredevil: Born Again" continue to rail against Disney+ for canceling the series after three seasons, one of its stars is choosing to stay positive.

Deborah Ann Woll, who plays legal office manager Karen Page on the live-action Marvel series, has shared a message of hope with the show's millions of disappointed fans, posting an uplifting response on her official Facebook page.

"Enjoy the last season, guys!" Woll wrote on September 22, shortly after news broke that "Daredevil: Born Again" will end with its upcoming third season. "We worked really hard on it. Grateful for you." The message was accompanied by three emojis — two hearts and a sad face.

And this isn't just another job for Woll. The actress has been playing Karen for more than a decade, debuting in 2015 on Netflix's original "Daredevil" series, of which "Born Again" is a continuation. Woll has also portrayed Karen across multiple Marvel shows, including five episodes of Netflix's "The Punisher" and four episodes of Netflix's "The Defenders." Woll most recently appeared as Karen in the May 2026 Disney+ special "The Punisher: One Last Kill."

It was reported on September 21 that the upcoming third season of "Daredevil: Born Again," which is expected to premiere sometime in 2027, will be its last. Additionally, revival creator Dario Scardapane is stepping down as showrunner due to his Marvel contract not being renewed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scardapane is "exiting the show in the middle of post-production ... and it is unclear who will see the show through completion."

Of course, Deborah Ann Woll is hardly the only "Daredevil: Born Again" star to weigh in on the show's untimely demise. Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays iconic Marvel villain Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin), recently posted a similarly supportive reaction to the cancellation news on X.

"We so enjoyed bringing ['Daredevil: Born Again'] to you all," he wrote on September 23. "You stuck with us and I like to think we stuck with you. We have the final season, Season 3, heading your way next year with some very cool stuff. Much love to all who have been supportive. I love that character Fisk. Always will. Off to another neck [of] the woods. Meanwhile... Season 3 is coming!"

Like Woll, D'Onofrio has been playing Kingpin since the original "Daredevil" series premiered on Netflix in 2015. He has also brought the character over to multiple Marvel projects, including two episodes of Disney+'s "Hawkeye" and four episodes of Disney+'s "Echo."
