The New York Ripper still lurks, Charley's back in town with a vengeance, and Agents Wallace and Oliva are hot on his tail. It's safe to say Dexter Morgan has a bit of unfinished business in the Season 2 trailer for "Dexter: Resurrection" released Thursday.

In the video above, Dexter's firmly in his 50s and feeling his age, as he's fitted for glasses at an optometrist. But failing eyesight be damned, Dex is still feeling the pressure of his Dark Passenger, as Uma Thurman's Charley returns to settle the score. We also see some terrifying new footage of Brian Cox's Don Framt and Dan Stevens' Owen Stark, both of whom are busy terrorizing the city in their own unique ways. But with young killers striving to make names for themselves in the Big Apple, is Dexter feeling left out?

Season 2 of "Dexter: Resurrection" (which begins on Paramount+ Friday, October 30) finds Dexter (Michael C. Hall) caught between two killers — "one with decades of notoriety and a lifetime of kills behind him, and the other a fresh young face terrorizing New York in ways no one has ever seen," reads its official description. "Meanwhile, Dexter battles a new and unexpected enemy: a mid-life crisis. Harrison (Jack Alcott) continues his own pursuit of justice as father and son face their darkest chapter yet." (Read everything we know about Season 2 here.)

Alongside Hall, the series stars returning cast members Thurman, Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar.

Joining the series for Season 2 are Cox, Stevens, Nona Parker Johnson, and Bokeem Woodbine. Gabriel Luna is also on board in a guest-starring role.
