Disney's Percy Jackson Series Is Finding A New Audience On A Different Streaming Service
"Percy Jackson and the Olympians" has just landed at a new streaming home. Created as a Disney+ exclusive, the ongoing TV adaptation of Rick Riordan's popular book series is now reaching viewers on another major platform.
As of October 4, the first two seasons of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" are available to stream on Netflix in addition to Disney+. The Walker Scobell-led fantasy show is among 14 TV shows and movies Disney has recently licensed to Netflix under a new agreement between the two companies. However, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" will only remain on Netflix for three months. From January 4, 2027, onward, Disney+ will once again be the only place to stream the show.
In the immediate wake of their arrival, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" Seasons 1 and 2 rank in Netflix's Top 10. Subscribers who haven't yet streamed the series have a limited window to catch up on Netflix. "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" also holds a 95% critic score and an 82% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes as of this writing.
Will Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 stream on Netflix?
"Percy Jackson and the Olympians" Season 3 is almost here, so when can Netflix subscribers expect to see it on the streaming platform? Although most of the upcoming episodes will release during the show's three-month Netflix window, they will be available exclusively on Disney+. The licensing deal between Disney and Netflix covers only the first two seasons of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," and there are currently no announced plans for Season 3 to stream on Netflix.
Adapting the third novel in Rick Riordan's series, "The Titan's Curse," "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" Season 3 premieres on Disney+ on November 20, with its eight episodes releasing weekly. Netflix subscribers can still use the limited three-month window to catch up on the first two seasons before Percy's story continues on Disney+.
