Andrew Walker will star in his 40th Hallmark movie in November 2026, but well before he was a bona fide rom-com heartthrob, "Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate" star kicked off his acting career in a 1994 episode of the '90s cop drama "Sirens." Walker played Bobby Corbin in Season 2, Episode 7, "The Needle and the Damage Done."

The titular "needle" refers to a used syringe that Lynn Stanton (A.J. Johnson) gets stabbed with, with the "damage done" referencing the consequences, as well as possibly Jessie Jaworski's investigation into a man who is adamant that he assassinated President John F. Kennedy instead of Lee Harvey Oswald. Since Walker was a teenager at the time and wasn't born when J.F.K. was shot in 1963, it's safe to say he did not play the man claiming to have killed the former president.

As "Sirens" isn't available to stream anywhere, has never had a home release, and only ran for one season on ABC in 1993 before being picked up by Telescene Productions in Canada for Season 2, anyone who wants to know what happened to Bobby will have to track down the episode themselves or talk to someone who saw it back in the day. As far as first roles go, though, "Sirens" was an impressive start for Walker. The Canadian-American series was Emmy-nominated and praised in the '90s for its portrayal of strong female characters balancing family life with their professional careers.

Andrew Walker's Hallmark debut was nothing like his first acting role

Believe it or not, it's possible to get a role in a cop drama (aka a cozy murder mystery) on Hallmark these days, but Andrew Walker's debut on the channel was in a traditional Hallmark rom-com: 2012's "A Bride for Christmas." The movie follows Aiden MacTiernan, played by Walker, who makes a bet with his friends that he can get a woman recovering from a broken engagement to marry him by Christmas. "Marshals" star Arielle Kebbel plays the broken-hearted woman, Jessie, who ultimately falls for Aiden (following a brief break-up and some classic Hallmark shenanigans, of course).

Walker told Decider in 2025 that he hadn't worked in a while and was close to stepping away from acting to focus on the juice company he had with his wife when he got the gig. "Hallmark came out of the blue," he recalled. "I got this offer to do this movie, and when it aired, it did pretty well. Then I got another callback six months later. Every time the phone would ring, I'd say, 'Wow, you want to see me back again?'" Walker is now one of Hallmark's most in-demand hunks, having worked alongside some of the network's most-beloved leading ladies like Lacey Chabert and Bethany Joy Lenz. Walker is currently set to star alongside another Hallmark regular, Erin Cahill, in "Christmas in Blue Dog Valley" as part of the network's Countdown to Christmas 2026 lineup.
