Juno Temple To Star In Apple Dramedy About Woman With A Mysteriously 'Infinite Supply Of Husbands'

Juno Temple's dance card is about to be very, very full.

The Ted Lasso star is set to meet The Husbands in Apple TV+'s comedic drama adapted from Holly Gramazio's New York Times bestselling book of the same name.

Who are "the husbands"? Well, when Lauren (played by Temple) returns home to her flat in London late one night, she is greeted at the door by her husband, Michael. "There's only one problem— she's never seen this man before in her life," the official synopsis tells us.

And it gets weirder.

"As Lauren tries to puzzle out how she could be married to someone she can't remember meeting, Michael goes to the attic to change a lightbulb and abruptly disappears. In his place, a new husband emerges," says the overview. "Realizing that her attic is creating an infinite supply of husbands, Lauren confronts the question: If swapping lives is as easy as changing a lightbulb, how do you know you've taken the right path? When do you stop trying to do better and start actually living?"

The Husbands is executive-produced by WGA Award-winning Succession writer Miriam Battye, lead director Craig Gillespie (Your Friends & Neighbors, Pam & Tommy), Annie Marter and author Gramazio.

Apple's Ted Lasso was renewed for a fourth season last month, but there is no word yet on which cast members will (or will not) return — Temple included.
