Bad Sisters Trailer: The Garvey Sisters' Crimes Won't Stay Buried In Season 2

It's been two years since Apple TV+'s Bad Sisters broke bad... but they haven't gotten away with it yet.

The streamer has released a trailer for Season 2 of the pitch-black comedy (premiering Wednesday, Nov. 13), with the Garvey sisters picking up the pieces after the "accidental death" of Grace's jerk of a husband John Paul. Grace has moved on... and is even getting married to a new bloke named Ian, played by Owen McDonnell. They're not mourning the loss of John Paul, either: "The world is better off without him," Ursula insists. "Even the Pope would say that."

But not everyone agrees — including a new character played by Killing Eve's Fiona Shaw who seems intent on bringing the Garvey girls to justice. "I know what you did," she ominously whispers to Grace when she sees her at church. A dead body in a suitcase floats to the surface, the cops start asking more questions... and Fiona Apple's "Criminal" makes a perfectly fitting soundtrack for all of it, don't you think?

Bad Sisters Season 1, which ended in September 2022, followed Eva Garvey (played by Catastrophe's Sharon Horgan), the protective older sister of Grace (Anne-Marie Duff), whose abusive husband John Paul (Claes Bang) suddenly died under mysterious circumstances. It was later revealed through Eva's flashbacks that she and her other sisters — Ursula (Eva Birthistle), Bibi (Sarah Greene) and Becka (Eve Hewson) — all hated John Paul and secretly plotted to murder him. After his death, a life insurance agent started to suspect the women were responsible for the crime.

In Season 2, which will consist of eight episodes, "past truths resurface" and "the ladies are thrust back into the spotlight, suspicions are at an all-time high, lies are told, secrets revealed and the sisters are forced to work out who they can trust," according to the official synopsis.

Additional Season 2 cast includes Thaddea Graham, Barry Ward, Michael Smiley, Saise Quinn, Daryl McCormack, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O'Neill, Peter Claffey, Deirdre Mullins, Lorcan Cranitch, Liz Fitzgibbon and Justine Mitchell.
