Silo Sneak Peek: Solo Blows Juliette's Mind With Romeo And Juliet Spoiler

A spoiler by any other name is still a spoiler, Solo@!@!@!!@@! Ugh.

When last we tuned into Silo Season 2 (new episodes drop every Friday on Apple TV+), Juliette (played by Rebecca Ferguson) and Silo 17 mystery man Solo (Steve Zahn) bonded a bit over his recollections of novels such as Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.

Solo's familiarity with such prose is due to the fact that Silo 17 apparently stocked pre-silo literature, whereas Juliette's Silo 18 famously did not.

That's why it was a minor miracle that Juliette was named after the titular heroine in William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, as disclosed in Season 1.

As it turns out, Romeo and Juliet is once again a conversation topic in the new sneak peek, from this Friday's fifth episode of Season 2, titled "Descent." In the clip above, Juliette asks Solo about his real name (and gets in return at least the origin of "Solo"), after which he makes a reference to Shakespeare's iconic play about ill-fated lovers.

Though... it becomes clear that whatever Juliette has been told about Romeo and Juliet, a meaningful plot point was left out! Press play above to witness her reaction to the blurted spoiler.

The full synopsis for "Descent" tells us that Juliette learns Solo isn't being honest. Back in Silo 18, meanwhile, Sims (Common) finds himself with a new position, and Bernard (Tim Robbins) and Lukas (Avi Nash) make an important discovery.
