Why Hannah Wells From Off Campus Looks So Familiar
Before Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells went from fake dating to falling in love, Ella Bright landed her first starring role in the BBC drama "Malory Towers." The "Off Campus" star played Darrell Rivers, a teen who attends an all-girls boarding school in postwar England. Her performance earned her a BAFTA nomination in 2022.
Based on Enid Blyton's books, "Malory Towers" follows Darrell and her peers as they navigate friendship, rivalries, and school adventures. Bright's earlier credits also include the TV series "Legends" and the West End production of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."
Bright also had a blink-or-you'll-miss-it appearance in "The Crown" Season 6. In Episode 7, she plays a young Kate Middleton, already infatuated with Prince William (Rufus Kampa) and even crossing paths with him and Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki). Although Kate and Diana never met in real life, the show imagines an encounter between them.
Is Ella Bright returning for Off Campus Season 2?
Ella Bright will return for "Off Campus" Season 2 alongside her co-star, Belmont Cameli. Although Allie (Mika Abdalla) and Dean (Stephen Kalyn) will be the main characters of the upcoming season, with their budding romance taking center stage, Hannah and Garrett will still be at Briar U and interacting with their friend group.
"Honestly, the way that we end Season 1 is kind of, in a way, the beginning of their relationship," Bright shared in a May 2026 interview with Collider Ladies Night. How much of Hannah and Garrett we'll see in the forthcoming episodes remains unclear as of this writing.
Bright also teased the new season in a video with Cameli, posted on the official "Off Campus" social media accounts in early September. "We're back filming Season 2 right now, and we cannot wait for you to see what's coming. Trust us, it's gonna be worth the wait," she said.
Bright has also been cast in the indie biopic "Gable," which follows Olympic gold medalist wrestler Dan Gable. She will play his sister Diane, adding another project to her growing list of credits.
