Peter Krause Was A Memorable Guest Star On Seinfeld In One Of His Earliest Roles

Before he landed his breakout role on HBO's "Six Feet Under" (one of the best HBO shows of all time), Peter Krause played a neo-Nazi on an early episode of "Seinfeld." In Season 3's "The Limo," Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) and George (Jason Alexander) con their way into a free limousine ride that was meant for someone else. At first, this seems like a harmless trick, but there's one big problem: The guy whose identity they stole is a neo-Nazi celebrity author. Soon Jerry and George find themselves stuck in a limo with the guy's two very intense, devoted neo-Nazis followers. One of them is Tim, played by Krause, and he's the first to start figuring out that Jerry and George are not who they say they are.

Krause is easy to overlook in this early role, in part because the other neo-Nazi in the car (Eva, played by Suzanne Snyder) is a lot louder and more intense about her fascist views. She's often leaning forward in her seat while Krause leans back, his face shrouded in darkness. It's a surprisingly low-key performance for such an evil character; it makes Krause one of those actors who's easy to forget ever guest-starred in "Seinfeld" at all.

The Limo was Krause's last time guest-starring, but not his last time on the Seinfeld set

"I looked very different in that episode," Peter Krause told Pop Entertainment in 1999. "I was wearing a trench coat, wielding a gun. But it was a lot of fun, those guys are really great to work with. ... We spent most of our time in the limousine on the stage." Krause, who has starred on a string of popular hit shows since "The Limo" aired, is just one of dozens of now-major actors who got their start on the NBC series.

Although this was Krause's only appearance on "Seinfeld," he did find himself working at the same studio lot during the show's final season. He'd been working on the TV show "Cybill" at the time "Seinfeld" wrapped up filming. He told People in September 2026, "Everybody was pilfering that set, and of course there are cameras — so I remember those writers who took Jerry's door buzzer got a phone call, and the person on the other end of the line said, 'Hello, this is Jerry Seinfeld. I'd like my door buzzer back.'"

Krause took something much smaller from the set: "I took a sugar shaker and a dairy creamer," he admitted. "[I may] get a call from Jerry Seinfeld asking for his dairy creamer back."
