It's officially war between Good and Evil in the fourth week of "American Horror Story: 13," which drops a number of bombshells — whether the characters are ready to hear them or not.

Episode 9 brings us back to Mr. Nas' apartment, where Constance has a laundry list of demands for the Prince of Darkness. For starters, she only wants to look at the hot version of him, clearly speaking for the viewers at home. He's happy to oblige, then gleefully listens to her run down everything else she wants: no more nukes, a female president, and jobs for her two children; she even suggests a position for Tate at Fox News. ("It's perfect, he'll fit right in!")

But it turns out that Mr. Nas isn't as amused by Constance's demands as she thinks. Forcing her to take a seat, he pulls out a list of his own — the many sins Constance committed in her life. It's a rough road for her to have to walk down, but at least we get a brief mention of her son, Michael Langdon, the Antichrist whom Mallory murdered when she went back in time in "Apocalypse." We were beginning to wonder if/how Michael fits into this new timeline, so now we have our answer. Sort of.

Constance's metaphorical dance with the Devil then pivots into a literal dance with the Devil when Mr. Nas invites her to cut a rug in an imaginary dreamscape. She appreciates the gesture, taking the opportunity to casually suggest that she'd make an excellent choice to rule as his queen. Then comes the record scratch of the century. You see, there's a very good reason why Mr. Nas could never be with Constance — he's her father!

Mr. Nas' full name is explained — and it's hilarious

Hey, remember Ben and Ashley from, like, two weeks ago? We finally reunite with them at a tattoo parlor, where a friend is investigating Ben's inexplicable "616" tramp stamp — and hoo boy, do they ever discover something. The experience unleashes long-buried memories from Ben's childhood of a woman killing herself in front of him as part of a cult ritual. And yes, Mr. Nas was there.

Ashley insists he's just having a panic attack (probably because she's in on all of this!), but Ben is certain that he must have been raised by Satanists. Also not good: "616" was apparently the original Mark of the Beast in the earliest versions of the Book of Revelation.

More suspicious than ever, Ben returns to Mr. Nas' apartment, where he questions Mr. Phibes about the specifics of Mr. Nas' medical treatment. When Mr. Phibes brushes him off, Ben turns to his AI search companion, who explains that Mr. Nas' full name, Taylor Dorium Nas, could be an anagram for — wait for it — I'm Your Lord Satan. Yes, really. You can't make this stuff up, folks. (Actually, someone literally did make this stuff up, and we have questions for them.)

But rather than giving Mr. Nas his medicine that night, Ben tries to give him a taste of his own medicine by smothering the creepy old man to death with a pillow. And he almost does it... until the younger, hotter Mr. Nas interrupts him from the corner of the room. "You want the truth about yourself?" he asks. "Then follow me, Benny brown eyes, if you know what's good for you."

And in one more twist that Cordelia could have seen coming even before she regained her sight, Ashley is seen chatting with Constance in a bar. "I think he's onto us," Ashley says. "I think he knows." Once again, Ben is the last horse to cross the finish line.

God and the Devil made a bet, but how does Ben fit into it?

Episode 10 drops us back in New Orleans, where the witches are impatiently waiting for Papa Legba and Marie Laveau to work their magic. It turns out to be worth the wait, though, because what they uncover is... a lot. After a whole lot of fingerprinting with blood, Papa Legba recalls the story of a letter received by the Pope in 1939. Apparently, God and the Devil made a bet — if the Devil could reach 100 years of age as a human, then God would turn over the keys to Heaven, Hell, and Earth. All three for the price of one!

Back in New York, Mr. Nas makes good on his promise to reveal all to Ben, starting with this bombshell: he's Ben's father! We actually already knew that, but like everything else in Ben's life, he did not. And, wait, does this also mean he's Constance's brother? We hadn't really thought that one through. Weird.

Mr. Nas also tells Ben about the deal he made with God, only he leaves out one very important part — he's been cheating! As Papa Legba explains to the witches, each murder of 13 humans helps him age rapidly.

Mallory finally reveals the truth about Apocalypse

Papa Legba also reveals that the Devil has a personal score to settle with the "Coven" witches, as they killed his son. Cordelia and the others are confused, forcing Mallory to confess everything. She recaps the events of "Apocalypse," explaining to everyone how she went back in time to kill Michael Langdon, all of which she kept a secret upon "meeting" them for the first time. Oh, and Mallory? She's apparently the future Supreme!

With all of that finally out in the open, Papa Legba reveals how the witches can stop Satan: they need to find his son, the person who will run Earth while Satan is busy running Hell. Right on cue, Mr. Nas offers the position to Ben, promising more power than he could ever imagine. "Are we going to do this nicely, or is daddy going to have to give you a spanking?" Mr. Nas asks, which is... weirdly hot, to be honest.

The episode ends with the witches preparing for battle, only to receive a visit from none other than Ben. "I believe that you're looking for me?" he asks. OK, now we're cooking with gas!
