Ratings: Fire Country, S.W.A.T. Rebound With NCIS: Sydney Lead-In

CBS' Fire Country and S.W.A.T. this Friday night both rebounded from last week's season-low audiences, which came out of a Grammys walk-up special.

Now leading off Friday night in its brand-new time slot, NCIS: Sydney's Season 2 premiere delivered 4.15 million total viewers, down 16% from its freshman run (which aired on a Monday night). TVLine readers gave the international offshoot's return an average grade of "A-"; read our post mortem Q&A with showrunner Morgan O'Neill about the big Mackey reveal and her cozy hang with JD.

Leading out of NCIS: Sydney, Fire Country delivered 4.2 million total viewers, up 15% from last week. S.W.A.T. then closed out CBS' night with 3.4 million total viewers, up 12% week-to-week but still well shy of the cancelled Blue Bloods' fall average (5.07 mil).
