Emmys 2026: TVLine Readers Pick Who Should Win In 13 Key Categories

If TVLine readers have any say in the matter, "The Pitt," "Abbott Elementary," and Matthew Rhys — twice! — will be among this year's Primetime Emmy winners.

Last month, we polled you on the shows and actors you think should win at the September 14 Emmy ceremony, and all three of the aforementioned names are ones you'd like to hear called out on the big night. (Rhys, if you all have your druthers, would take home trophies for his work in both Apple TV's "Widow's Bay" and Netflix's "The Beast in Me.")

Below, you'll find the results of 13 out of 15 polls. The awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series were already handed out at last weekend's Creative Arts Emmys, with "DTF St. Louis" stars Linda Cardellini and David Harbour winning in their respective categories. Thus, you won't find those poll results listed here, but Cardellini did lead TVLine's poll for her work in HBO's miniseries; Harbour, meanwhile, finished in second in our poll after "Death by Lightning" actor Nick Offerman.

Other hypothetical winners at this year's Emmys include "Pluribus" leading lady Rhea Seehorn, "Task" supporting actor Tom Pelphrey, and "Remarkably Bright Creatures" star Sally Field. But this is all theoretical, of course: To find out the real winners, you'll have to tune in to this year's ceremony, airing Monday, September 14, at 8/7c on NBC (and hosted by "Law & Order: SVU" star Mariska Hargitay).
