Ben Savage was the second in his family to lead a coming-of-age sitcom. He followed in the footsteps of his older brother, Fred Savage, who starred in "The Wonder Years." After the show ended, he appeared in episodes of "Phil of the Future," "Chuck," "Without a Trace," "Bones," and more. In 2004, he graduated from Stanford with a degree in Political Science.

In 2014, Savage returned as Cory in "Girl Meets World," which chronicled the daily life of the character's tween daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard). Savage has not publicly commented on the falling out. He married Tessa Angermeier in 2023 and had his first child in 2025, which could explain his break from acting.

Danielle Fishel is best known for playing Topanga Lawrence on "Boy Meets World," a character who had a huge impact on an entire generation. As the girlfriend-turned-wife of Cory, Topanga was a confident and smart young woman. In recent years, fans have spoken out against Topanga marrying Cory instead of going to Yale. However, Fishel has defended her character's choice on "Pod Meets World." "She would've been successful anywhere," Fishel explained (via People).

After "Boy Meets World" ended, Fishel appeared in the movies "Longshot" and "Dorm Daze." She reprised her role as Topanga in "Girl Meets World" for all 72 episodes. William Daniels played the beloved teacher and mentor, Mr. Feeny, during all seven seasons of "Boy Meets World." When he was not teaching the Matthews kids, he was giving them advice as their next-door neighbor. Daniels had a long career before "Boy Meets World." He voiced K.I.T.T., the car in "Knight Rider," and won two Emmys playing Dr. Mark Craig in "St. Elsewhere."

After "Boy Meets World," Daniels guest-starred in "Star Trek: Voyager," "Scrubs," "The King of Queens," "Grey's Anatomy," and more. Betsy Randle played Amy Matthews, Cory's nurturing and stable mother, during the entire run of "Boy Meets World." Trina McGee played Angela Moore in 59 episodes of "Boy Meets World" throughout Seasons 5, 6, and 7. She was Shawn's on-again, off-again girlfriend. She said series creator Michael Jacobs told her the rest of the cast did not want her in the series finale, which was "hurtful." Lily Nicksay played Cory's little sister, Morgan Matthews, during the first two seasons of "Boy Meets World." She was only about five years old when she was cast and ultimately left the show because she "didn't want to be there" (via Variety). While being on a network TV show was not the young girl's cup of tea, Nicksay did not quit acting. She later appeared in the movies "Up Close & Personal," "The Negotiator," and "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle."

Nicksay's television career continued in episodes of "Judging Amy," "8 Simple Rules," "The Mentalist," and more. In 2017, she played Morgan again in the series finale of "Girl Meets World." She was in the episode alongside her replacement, Lindsay Ridgeway. Nicksay was credited as Morgan Matthews I. Her most recent acting credit was the 2022 short film "Creature." Nicksay now goes by her married name, Gibson.

Lindsay Ridgeway took over as Morgan Matthews in Season 3 of "Boy Meets World" and held the role until the show came to an end. Before the sitcom, she had a handful of credits to her name ranging from episodes of "Star Trek: Voyager" and "Sonic the Hedgehog" to the movies "Cat's Don't Dance" and "Tower of Terror." However, her only credit after "Boy Meets World" was voicing the character Britney in an episode of "Totally Spies" titled "Alex Quits" in 2004.

In 2017, Ridgeway returned to acting for the first time to play Morgan again in the series finale of "Girl Meets World." The original Morgan, Lily Nicksay, also made a cameo in the episode, so Ridgeway was credited as Morgan Matthews II. In 2023, Ridgeway appeared on "Pod Meets World" and spoke about her famous "tankini" episode. "​​If someone tried to put my kid in that outfit on TV, I'd be like, 'Hell no,'" she declared. Ridgeway is now a manager for Individual Giving at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta (via Yahoo!).

Maitland Ward played Rachel McGuire in the final two seasons of "Boy Meets World," appearing in 45 episodes. She was roommates with Eric and Jack, who often fought for her affection, but she ultimately chose Jack.

Ward's film credits include "Dish Dogs" and "White Chicks." Meanwhile, she showed up in episodes of "Boston Public," "Out of Practice," and "Rules of Engagement." In 2019, Ward started a career as an adult film actress. In 2022, she wrote an autobiography titled "Rated X: How Porn Liberated Me from Hollywood." She later told Fox News Digital that people treat her with "more respect now" than when she was acting in Hollywood.

Ward guest-starred on "Pod Meets World" in 2025 and made headlines for getting into an argument with Danielle Fishel. While she did not appear on "Girl Meets World," she did visit the set and claimed Fishel ignored her. The two went back and forth over what happened and could not seem to come to a mutual understanding.

Anthony Tyler Quinn played Jonathan Turner from Season 2 through Season 4 of "Boy Meets World." Mr. Turner was the cool English teacher who served as a temporary guardian for Shawn. During his final episode, Mr. Turner was in a motorcycle accident. While he survived, he was never given a proper goodbye, and fans often wondered about his fate.

Quinn could later be seen in episodes of "Melrose Place," "Caroline in the City," "Dexter," "Ghost Whisperer," "House," "Pretty Little Liars," and more. He reprised his role as Mr. Turner in three episodes of "Girl Meets World," which finally revealed what happened to the character after his accident. He married the nurse who cared for him and became a high school superintendent in New York.

Quinn showed up for four episodes of "Pod Meets World." His most recent acting credit was the 2021 film "The Man From Nowhere." The actor also has some writing credits to his name, including the 2023 movie "The Descent." 

Lee Norris played Stuart Minkus in all 22 episodes of the first season of "Boy Meets World." He was the stereotypical nerd character who had an annoying crush on Topanga. Norris reprised the role in the Season 5 finale, "Graduation." The show jokingly explained his absence from the previous seasons by saying he was in a different part of the school the entire time.

Norris was in two episodes of "Dawson's Creek," but many know him best as Marvin "Mouth" McFadden from "One Tree Hill." He co-starred in 171 episodes of the series. He also had roles in two David Fincher films: "Zodiac" and "Gone Girl."

Norris appeared in five episodes of "Girl Meets World" as Minkus, who grew up to be a billionaire. In 2017, he was in two episodes of "The Walking Dead." His most recent credits were the movies "A Christmas Wish" in 2019 and "Greyhound" in 2020. Norris has also appeared on "Pod Meets World" a few times.

Ethan Suplee played Frankie Stechino in 19 episodes of "Boy Meets World." He was a sidekick to the bully Harley Keiner (Danny McNulty), but after the tormentor was sent to reform school, Frankie befriended Cory and Shawn. Suplee's final appearance was in Season 5. During his time on the show, he also appeared in multiple Kevin Smith films. Since then, he has gone on to have a lucrative acting career.

Suplee appeared in the movies "American History X," "Road Trip," "Remember the Titans," "Blow," "Cold Mountain," "The Butterfly Effect," "The Fountain," "The Wolf of Wall Street," and much more. He also co-starred in the sitcom "My Name is Earl," which earned him a SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

While Suplee did not appear in "Girl Meets World," he appeared in two episodes of "Pod Meets World." Suplee's most recent credit was in an episode of Apple TV's "Imperfect Women" in 2026.

Blake Clark played Shawn and Jack's father, Chet Hunter, in 12 episodes of "Boy Meets World." He was a charming but unstable father who often came and went from his sons' lives. Chet died in Season 6, but Clark still popped up in a couple of episodes as a figment of Shawn's imagination. He even did so in an episode of "Girl Meets World" in 2015.

Clark's filmography has grown exceptionally since "Boy Meets World" came to an end. His TV credits include episodes of "Spin City," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Community," "Hacks," and more. He is also a staple in Adam Sandler's films, appearing in "Little Nicky," "Mr. Deeds," "50 First Dates," "Hubie Halloween," "Happy Gilmore 2," and more. Many know Clark best for taking over the voice of Slinky Dog in "Toy Story 3." His most recent credit was reprising the role in "Toy Story 5" in 2026. In 2023, Clark appeared in one episode of "Pod Meets World."

Alex Désert played Eli Williams in the third season of "Boy Meets World." He was a media arts teacher and the best friend of Mr. Turner. Despite being a main cast member for one season, Désert never returned to the show and did not reprise his role in "Girl Meets World."

Désert went on to act in the films "Swingers" and "High Fidelity," as well as episodes of "House" and "Reno 911." He is known to many for playing Jack Malinak in all six seasons of "Becker." He also lent his voice to many video games and animated projects. His most recent credits include "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" and "Hoppers." Since 2020, he has been a staple of "The Simpsons."

Désert appeared on "Pod Meets World" in 2023 and was an audience member during Dedication Night during Danielle Fishel's time on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2025.

Blake Sennett played Joey the Rat in 16 episodes of "Boy Meets World." The character served as a flunky to the bully Harley, but he exceeded his leader's time on the show. Before Cory and friends graduated from high school, Joey the Rat was written out of the series.

After "Boy Meets World," Sennett did a little more acting, appearing in episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "3rd Rock from the Sun" before shifting to music. He is now known as a member of the indie rock band Rilo Kiley, which formed in 1998. Rilo Kiley stopped performing in 2008, but reunited for a new tour in 2025. 

Sennett's music has been featured in many TV shows, including "Gilmore Girls," "The O.C.," "Girls," and "Barry." While Sennett never appeared on "Girl Meets World," he did pop in for two episodes of "Pod Meets World."
