We're pleased to inform you that "Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed" is coming back for more: Apple TV has renewed the Tatiana Maslany-led comic thriller for Season 2, TVLine has learned.

"We are delighted to continue the story of 'MPG' and deeply grateful to Apple and our incredible cast and crew," creator and showrunner David J. Rosen said in a statement. "This is all pretty amazing for a show whose title came from a spam email."

Maslany — who won an Emmy for playing a myriad of clones on "Orphan Black" — stars here as Paula, a divorced soccer mom whose online dalliance with a seductive camboy gets her involved in a dense web of conspiracy, blackmail, and murder. The supporting cast includes Charlie Hall and Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg as Paula's co-workers Rudi and Geri, and Dolly de Leon as NYPD detective Sofia.

Jake Johnson also co-stars as Paula's ex-husband Karl, with Jessy Hodges as his new wife Mallory and Raymond Lee as Paula's new love interest Steve.

Rosen also serves as writer and executive producer, while David Gordon Green is on board as a director and additional EP.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed debuted earlier this year on Apple TV

"Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed" premiered in May on Apple TV with a 10-episode freshman season. The season wrapped up with Paula finally clearing her name in a double murder and winning back custody of her daughter Hazel — but then receiving a threatening message from a mystery caller along with incriminating video from her past. (For more, read our finale post mortem with showrunner David J. Rosen.)

As far as a second season goes, Rosen told TVLine that the incident between Paula and Caleb in Portland "certainly seems worse than what she's told everyone," and "we definitely have thoughts" about what's in store for Paula in Season 2: "It's not getting easier. We have an arc for her. We have plans. But we definitely are going to keep her on our toes."
