Kay has been freelancing for a decade, focusing primarily on pop culture. She started her writing journey with the now-defunct teen.com, which centered on television, music, and feminism. In 2022, she joined Static Media, where many of her articles have highlighted the creative journeys of Tinseltown's biggest names for brands such as The List and NickiSwift. Previously, she covered reality TV for The Inquisitr.
