Ben started professionally analyzing film and television in 2008 when he co-founded The Pretentious Film Majors with Zachary Shevich. The radio show on Drexel's WKDU 97.1FM evolved into an entertainment hub that also included podcasts, YouTube videos, and written reviews in various Philadelphia-based outlets.
He has reported on the latest in TV news from SDCC, NYCC, C2E2, the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival, and the Newport Beach Film Festival. At these events and beyond, he has interviewed standouts from TV shows such as "The Walking Dead," "Star Trek: Lower Decks," "Doctor Who," "The Muppets," "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and even "Frasier."
Ben hosts "Time 2 Party," a podcast that revisits time travel media to determine whether they're still worth your time.

In addition to film and television, Ben is a fan of professional wrestling, superhero comic books, Disney theme parks, and being an advocate for representation in media.

Education

Ben earned a bachelor's degree in screenwriting and playwriting with a minor in television production from Drexel University.
