Mike has worked as a professional writer since 2013, getting his start as a writer for the UCLA newspaper The Daily Bruin for its pop culture beat. He's written about film and television for many other sites online, including Cracked, Ranker, StudioBinder, and Backstage. But Mike doesn't just talk about movies; he also makes his own, having written several short films that have been produced by Dollars & Donuts Productions. He currently writes for the sketch comedy team Crop Top, which performs every month at The Pack Theater in Los Angeles.

Mike has a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in political science from UCLA.
